Animated Monkeys

The idea to do animated sequences was mine. Something I've wanted to do for a long time. The idea of doing the Monkey Heads was Javier Grillo-Marxuach, who came to us from "Lost." And the actual creation of the cartoons was done by my friend, Van Partible, who's best known as the creator of "Johnny Bravo."

There's an excellent behind-the-scenes look at how those sequences were created on iVillage and on NBC.com.

while i was watching i thought it was a great add, i enjoyed the change up! but i was thinking about thw little children who thought they were in for a nice little cartoon, then again little children shouldnt be watching tv at this time !! really great idea though !!!!

Loved the monkey cartoons...very effective as well as creative...well worth the wait! Have you had psychic experiences of your own to help you with the season content?

i read the idea some one left for her brother and her to find the samk killer, that seems like it could go some where

Will there ever be a time to live blog with the other cast characters and ask them questions too? I just love the idea of talking with and hearing from them. Your doing a great job!

I think that you nicely bring the bad and good into the stories, especially involving the family and then turn it just when it becomes uncomfortable or something to think about, to the good again. I think a lot of shows shy away from involving the families of the characters thanks for not going away from the family, it truly is the heart of the show.

LOVE the show. I thought it was great that last season's finale focused on a "what could have been" had Alison married another man- and the premier focused on another man thinking that way towards her.

One question:
How does the real Alison feel about the show? Having used her real name for the show, does she find that she is now seen more credibly, or less? I can't understand what would provoke a person to sign away their name to Hollywood...I'd imagine people wouldn't believe her when she told them her name!

Also: the child actors are awesome. Hopefully they have long careers ahead of them.

The seemingly varied stories lines all coming together was great! I love the show, Patricia's family and home on the show have a real life atmosphere that helps make the whole concept believeable. Patricia is so beautiful, yet comes across as such a down to earth person on the show and on interviews. The whole cast must work hard to seem so connected and real.
My Question is, is there an individual with these gifts that help develop the show?
