i didnt like dani before tuesday episode but now i really dont like her after what she did to munch she wouldnt even be there for her fellow police officer she makes a lousy partner. i want olivia back! i wont watch until olivia and elliot are partners again!
I love Dani...I want her to stay on and maybe Olivia can join the Friday Law and Order. Dani has Great Chemistry with Elliot

I watched the first episode with Dani. She's tolerable but you're going to ruin any respect I might have for her if you put her together with Elliot while he's still married. It's OOC for him anyway. Besides, her brief stint only increases the Team Ellvia movement. You guys rock!

Honestly. I got so upset when I found out that Elliot and Dani were getting it on, I had take an advil. Even when someone mentions her name it causes my SVU friends and I to shudder. You did a poor job replacing Mariska. So poor, my friends and I have decided to boycott the show until Mariska comes back. Long Live Chis/Mariska, Elliot/Olivia! Perfect friends, perfect partners.
I am disappointed by the uneven portrayal of so-called eco-terrorists. While some radical individuals do destroy property, rarely is anyone ever injured. These people are unfairly labeled terrorists when they are standing up against oppression, as people once had to do for women and blacks. The animals suffer immensely and for what - shampoo?
Please keep Olivia on the show. If she has to go, can the character just take a 'leave of absence' and come back later?

I thought last season was one of the best seasons for any long running dramas. But tonight's episode is just as great.
I truly love the intense emotional stories. This police drama is some of the best character-driven, good acting required TV shows ever.
I am looking forward to this season.

And why do the suspects talk to the police in the interegation room without their lawyers in every episode? Who is stupid enough to do that in real life?
i can't believe that olivia is gone (for a while) after only one episode! it's a nice twist, i just can't believe you pulled it so soon. elliot is seems so lost without her. i love this show though! great job! keep 'em coming!

Also-also: Were Star (sp.?) and the Conf.Inf. doubl-agent supposed to be like sisters, or was Star supposed to be in love with her (like V's replacement in Vendetta was in love with the lesbian movie star)?
isn't what the federal agent (i forget her name) used on liv called emotional blackmail? why did she fall for it? i know that the agent is working for the greater good, but she's extremely hasty in her judgement sometimes. she could have roped in someone else (a real insider of EDGE(?) perhaps). anyway, i really hope liv returns SOON.
I agree with all the posters that mention how much we love the relationship between Olivia and Elliot. I also agree that they can't take that next step and that makes the show that much better. Perhaps Elliot will move further with his new partner? Send my best to "Coach"
I really hope Benson isn't gone for long...I love the dichotomy of her and Stabler...they play off of one another with such ease, it is going to be hard to replace that chemistry

Listen, I don't know what this is all about but I can tell you one thing, Law and Order SVU is the only tv show i have ever watched and enjoyed on a consistent basis and i will NOT be watching it without mariska hargitay...definately. so please bring her back quickly...

She's my favorite character, and such an amazing actress! I hope she's doing okay with her baby and especially with her father's death. I'm glad that she got to thank him in her award speech before he died though.

Watching SVU is like watching a major feature film every week. How do you keep the pace and suspense going for each episode? It is quite obviously the best show on TV and it's the only one I watch without fail.

First off...my family and I would like to send our condolences to the Hargitay family for their loss. The season premier was awesome...a vey good way to make the Olivia transition to Elliot's new partner. I look forward to an exciting season and the return of Olivia to the SVU squad room.

I couldn't believe you were splitting them up again until I realized it was for personal reasons. I guess she is allowed to have a life =) I love the show because of the chemistry *they* have. Get a new partner if you must, but ditch her as soon as possible! We want Benson back!!!
I loved this episode -- The humor is snappier than last season, and the show is getting to be as cinematic as the letterbox format deserves :-D
I love the direction the show is going in. It is very interesting and different. The suspence is delightfully fulfilling.
yeah... it seems like if the Benson / Stabler team gets torn apart I just won't be able to like SVU that much... the chemistry, the team, evertyhing about it is just perfect.
