We're thrilled to have Connie Nielsen join us this fall. You probably know her from the Academy Award winning movie "Gladiator." (Yes, she was Joaquin Phoenix's sister.) She's new to SVU -- she was a warrants cop before chasing perps who skipped bail. Now she's learning the ropes from Elliot -- just what she learns, you'll have to watch...

I'm for olivia, I don't hate dani but I don't to her kissing on elliot, it wasn't even a good kiss. I'll I keep thinking is she's going to be leaving soon, I thought it was this past episode but I guess there's still 1 more to go and btw- it was just so sad when liv showed up and was talking to cragen. She's so got feeling for elliot. It's just a shame they won't ever be spoken. Or will they?

Connie Neilson has got to go. She might be good in movies but not on TV. I have been hooked on L&O way back when it started. Just like many of the people in L&O land I have spent many a day watching for 10 to 12 hours.. You dont know it happend you just get stuck watching. I would hate to lose my passion for the show because the new lead women detective can't hang. Just my thoughts as a huge fan of the series and all its spin off.. No CSI here, only Law & Order..
Sorry, my heart belongs to Mariska. Not like that but you know what I mean. I just can't like Dani. It's a sacred ground. She's intruding. Just can't wait until "Saint Olivia" comes back! Love you Mariska!

I think it will be good seeing Elliot with someone new. But don't get me wrong Mariska is my favorite actress in the world and it wouldn't be SVU with out her. I think the best episode will be when Olivia comes back from her undercover job and sees the whole gang. Becuase she couldn't tell anyone where she went except Cragen and i think that is kind of sad because Elliot doesn't know where she is.

I'm very curious about Connie Nilsen's character. Hopefully she will bring some fresh air the show.And it doesn't hurt that she's pretty.

I hope you do hook up Elliot and Olivia romantically. It could be great, espcially if done with such intensity as 'Fault'. Terrific job on that!
Okay, we get the innuendo, but will SVU still be able to maintain it's integrity and appeal with a lead getting involved in a pointless hookup? As it was said before, SVU is a compelling show without all that fluff - we can see that on all the other shows on tv.

The Emmy's gave me a rush watching Mariska win. i was looking foward to seeing her new hair do which was so long at the Emmy's what happened to it she cut it for the show? i was hoping it would stay long like the awards show ot was a so refreshing on her
