I don't know about the Montecito hotel, but in Las Vegas, might I recommend the Paris hotel near Caesar's Palace. It's BEAUTIFUL in there!! (Plus, the view of the lakes -if you get the right room - is great too.)

great idea on making $ at the casino. but come on.. you're a smart guy. you can find better methods to cheat the casino.

you prob don't have the ability yet but go in to the future when you are at a roulette table. figure out what is the # the ball will land on. don't do anything else to affect the future. like, distract the dealer in any way. also don't call attention to the casino cameras, they will be watching you like a hawk. rewind back in time, place all on that # once the ball is in motion. I would recommend you put all you've got at the moment.. Repeat this process 1 more time then bail out. Hit all the casino and you are set. you can create your own x-men base underground somewhere.

The characters are intriguing as are the plot lines. Don't bash something just to make yourself look like a superior comic book enthusiast. Two new NBC shows on Monday nights: Heroes and Studio Sixty

Heroes is pretty cool so far about a lot of people with super-powers just trying to deal with these powers and at least a small group of people who are their enemies. The story line is incredibly slow, on a time scale like a soap where one day can take three or four seasons, the show seems to be in the style of Lost, and the sheer lack of time flow is a sad indication that the generation that was put on Ritalin as small children has come of age if not up to speed. The Japanese guy named Hiro can do all kind of things like travel in time and space just by thinking himself there. So far he is the most powerful and the least conflicted – he knows he’s supposed to be a super hero. NBC has a Hiro Blog, but its not very well done, because there’s no new information about Hiro, much less anything about what he’s thinking. The difference between the heroes and the bad guys is that the bad guys aren’t conflicted at all – they live in a black and white world – shades of Pleasantville. That Hiro is the least conflicted makes him a geek – and, just to underscore the point, he is also childlike and non-threatening. The story seems to be about why anyone would choose to be a hero – or even do the right thing. But the show seems to be afraid to actually talk about it, for fear of losing their target audience. Maybe it’s just because they have no idea why people choose to do the right thing – other than just because they’re geeks. There is another storyline involving a man who paints the future and is a heroin addict which is totally unacceptable – I’m sure he’ll turn out to be betraying everyone, so he’ll get his according to the code, but the writers are already betraying everyone. So whoever thought up the show sold it to Hollywood hacks.

Which brings me to Studio Sixty, which for some obscure reason, probably to do with legal, has on the sunset strip tacked onto the title. It is from the guy who did West Wing – about an incredibly sincere US president and his incredibly sincere staff – I’m talking about 1930’s the Man of Bronze and his good guy team pulp fiction sincere – and also both groups never sleep. So the guy survived his cocaine bust, but not two terms of GW. So now he’s doing a show about an incredibly sincere group of television people – if this strikes you as an oxymoron – it strikes me too. Nevertheless, the show is good, very good, and to tell the truth, there has been a sense of anticipation, like waiting for a crash at a car race, because of the oxymoron of course. Amanda Peet, a movie star, plays the president of an old school television network who keeps trying to get television artists to do shows for her network. The lazy brother from wings plays her boss the chairman, a man who is only interested in the ratings, and therefore the ad revenues.
The show is good, and it is a fiction – because it ignores the fact that broadcast television in the U.S. is commercial and regulated by the unelected US government, which makes it inherently conservative and unable to compete directly with art, because it can’t show the things that people are truly interested in which are politically incorrect or immoral. So if you’ve actually stuck with this, I’m not against TV portraying heroin addicts, I’m against TV portraying heroin addicts so inaccurately that it is significant people in addicts lives who treat addicts badly, and not the other way around, and this portrayal to a target audience who don’t know the essential facts of addiction. Studio Sixty is aimed at adults, so that show’s flimflamery fools us no worse than we fool ourselves while the real president runs amok.

Hey Hiro, its become apparent to me reading these that your english needs work- reading really isnt a problem but speaking is. this comic book writer is not japanese...also another thought taht occured to me is...if you can stop time perhaps leveling up in warrior or gunamge a bit woudnt hurt. I was just thinking of something since you can control time and space it may even be possible for you to move to different dimensions (the act of teleporting in itself crosses dimensions).

I really have special powers, I can hear people's thoughts. Example I hate crowded malls because it always confuses me and my mind races because of my gift. I sometimes tell of things that just happened miles away from me, without phisically being there. I can sometimes put thoughts in someone's mind. I can relate to this show real well.

Love the show!! I watched a show about an island on a different network but got tired of more questions and no answers. This show keeps me interested and gives you new information while keeping the suspense. I loved the end of this week and the line about Peter's scar lets me know that he must live. Did Matt get his brain removed??? Is that what the clean him out meant? My only problem was this... for a moment I though Hiro was the one cutting the tops of the peoples heads off with his katana but the scene from next week showed me that it wasn't him...anyway keep up the good Heroing!!

Hiya Hiro, love the show. I have to say your power is the best and if I had to choose any, it would be yours. Another great thing about your parts is the fact that you speakJapanese, don't learn english TOO fast. :P I'm learning now and I've picked up a few wordsfrom you :D It's cool that every once in a while there is a word, phrase, or sentence thatI don't have to read at the bottom as subtitles.

Anyways...

I have some ideas... I know that it wouldn't be allowed to happen because it would probably be much to good, and your future self might realize this too but... Can't you think to yourself "When I learn to control my powers, I willgo back in time and teach my younger self." To speed up your learning process? I mean, you said you needed a guide to your powers... Then if you actually got yourself to do it in the future, it should happen now to you. Maybe I don't understand the bending of time and space well enough to suggest anything, but whatever. :P

By the way, Final fantasy 5 was my favorite. Mixing jobs by mastering them = amazing. Gotta love X-Magic + Two Quick time magics = 4 spells in a turn. Or was it 8? Still owned either way.
