Off to ¨La Frontera¨

Tomorrow I´m leaving for ¨La Frontera¨, the boarder of the Dominican Republic and Haiti. I´m looking forward to seeing some amazing things! Unfortunately due to the governmental instability of Haiti, we will be unable to enter the country, but I´m sure this trip will be interesting enough. Of course, you all will be there right along with me. It is my understanding that we will be attending another celebration similiar to the Fiesta de los Palos, exploring an outside market place, and going on a small hike. For more, you´ll just have to wait and see!

I have a DVD documentary about 30 minutes long on the situation with the anti-haitian semitism. I am dominican and love my haitian brothers and sisters, if it was my choice i'd remove the damn border. The celebration u are talking about is called Gaga' in D.R and Rara in Haiti, its a marching band playing to the vodoun spirits, very fun, great vibe.

Thanks for taking the time to discuss this, I feel strongly about it and love learning more on this topic. If possible, as you gain expertise, would you mind updating your blog with more information? It is extremely helpful for me.
