I spent Monday at Rucker Park in Harlem, which is not only where Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Wilt Chamberlain, George Gervin and Dr. J played before they were professionals, but is also right across the street from what used to be the Polo Grounds.

I spent all day on Sunday in Brooklyn with my boys from Dirty on Purpose. Went to see the band Deertick in an abandoned public swimming pool, big free show in a park in Brooklyn, but they had flight complications and didn't make it. Saw some other band instead, and it was "OK."

Hey everyone...Look at who is still alive. I'm traveling to Stamford CT on Thursday to do some live blogging for men's and women's Olympic basketball games, but am taking a brief pit stop in Georgia after traveling home from Indiana on Sunday.
